Riyad as-Salihin, 177
Khalid Al-Juhani (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who equips a warrior in the way of Allah (will get the reward of the one who has actually gone for Jihad); and he who looks after the family of a warrior in the way of Allah will get the reward of the one who has gone for Jihad". <b>[Al- Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
عن أبي عبد الرحمن زيد بن خالد الجهني رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم :
من جهز غازياً في سبيل الله فقد غزا ومن خلف غازيا في أهله بخير فقد غزا
((متفق عليه)) .

<b>Guidance from the Hadiths:</b><br>
1) Whoever aids someone in obeying Allah Almighty will have the same reward as his, without having this reward diminished in the least.<br>
2) Participating in doing good deeds ensures the reward for all.<br>
3) People are encouraged to do good deeds.<br>
<br>
<b>Benefit:</b><br>
Aiding a fighter may take two forms:<br>
1- To provide him with a riding mount, provision, weapons and all that is needed for fight.<br>
2- To be a good successor for him in looking after his family.
