Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer the Jumua prayer immediately after midday.

Jibril (peace be upon him) taught the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) the times of the prayer, then the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) taught them to his companions through his words and actions. In this hadith, Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to pray Jumu‘ah prayer when the sun began to decline; in other words, after it had passed the meridian, after the sun began to descend from the middle of the sky towards the west, because when the sun begins to decline, the time for Zuhr prayer begins. The form of the verb used here gives the impression that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) usually prayed Jumu‘ah when the sun had passed the meridian, even though there are some hadiths which indicate that he prayed Jumu‘ah before the sun passed the meridian – because offering this prayer after the sun has passed the meridian, at the time of Zuhr, is less likely to lead to confusion or misunderstanding for those who are not obliged to attend Jumu‘ah, because they only have to pray Zuhr, and if the adhan is given after the sun has passed the meridian, that is more on the safe side for those who are at home and those who do not have to attend Jumu‘ah, so that they will not pray Zuhr before its time has begun, because Zuhr can only be offered after the sun has passed the meridian..
