إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الإِثْمِدَ إِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ
. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ لَيِّنُ الْحَدِيثِ .
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:
The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] said: "One of the best kinds of kohl that you use is Ithmid (antimony); it brightens the vision and makes the hair (eye-lashes) grow."
