أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلاَّمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُوتَشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:

"The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] cursed the women who do tattoos and the women who have them done, Al-Mutanammisat, and the women who have their teeth separated for the sake of beauty, those who change (the creation of Allah.)"

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ ‏.‏ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that Ibrahim said:

"Abdullah said: 'The women who have their teeth separated..." and he quoted the Hadith.'"

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ صَمْعَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ، تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْوَاشِمَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةِ وَالْوَاصِلَةِ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةِ وَالنَّامِصَةِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَةِ ‏.‏

English translation

Aban bin Sam'ah narrated that his mother said:

"I heard 'Aishah say: 'The Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] forbade the woman who does tattoos and the woman who has that done, the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done, An-Namisah (the one who does the plucking) and Al-Mutanammisah (the one who has it done).'"
