Letting the End of the Turban Hang Between the Shoulders

It was narrated from Ja'far bin 'Amr bin Umayyah that his father said:

"It is as if I am looking now at the Messenger of Allah [ﷺ] on the Minbar, wearing a black turban, the end of which he has let hang down between his shoulders."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ السَّاعَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ قَدْ أَرْخَى طَرَفَهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ ‏.‏
