أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِهِ حِينَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَعِنْدَ إِحْلاَلِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحِلَّ بِيَدَىَّ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah when he decided to enter Ihram, and when he exited Ihram, before he exited Ihram, with my own hand. ''

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that Aishah said:

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram when he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he had stoned Jamrat Al-Aqabah, before he circumambulated the House.''

أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ حِينَ أَحَلَّ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram before he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he exited Ihram.''

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِحُرْمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ بَعْدَ مَا رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his Ihram when he entered Ihram, and for his exiting Ihram when he had stoned Jamrat Al-Aqabah, before he circumambulated the House.''

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَبُو عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لإِحْلاَلِهِ وَطَيَّبْتُهُ لإِحْرَامِهِ طِيبًا لاَ يُشْبِهُ طِيبَكُمْ هَذَا تَعْنِي لَيْسَ لَهُ بَقَاءٌ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that Aishah said:

"I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah for his exiting Ihram, and I put perfume on him for his Ihram, perfume which was not like this perfume of yours" she meant that it does not last.(Shah)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ طَيَّبْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ بِأَطْيَبِ الطِّيبِ عِنْدَ حُرْمِهِ وَحِلِّهِ ‏.‏

English translation

'Uthman bin 'Urwah narrated that his father said:

"I said to 'Aishah: 'What kind of perfume did you put on the Messenger of Allah?' she said: 'The best kind of perfume, when he entered Ihram and when he exited Ihram.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَزِيرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِهِ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَجِدُ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"I used to put perfume on the Messenger of Allah when he entered Ihram, using the best perfume I could find.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِأَطْيَبِ مَا أَجِدُ لِحُرْمِهِ وَلِحِلِّهِ وَحِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَزُورَ الْبَيْتَ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"I used to put perfume on the Messenger of Allah using the best I could find, when he entered Ihram and when he exited Ihram, and when he wanted to visit the House.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ طَيَّبْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ بِطِيبٍ فِيهِ مِسْكٌ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that Al-Qasim said:

"'Aishah said: 'I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) before he entered Ihram and on the Day of Sacrifice before he circumambulated the House, using perfume containing musk."'

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، - يَعْنِي الْعَدَنِيَّ - عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، - يَعْنِي الأَزْرَقَ - قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ الطِّيبِ فِي رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَبِيصِ طِيبِ الْمِسْكِ فِي مَفْرِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that Aishah said:

"It is as if I can see the glistening of the perfume on the head of the Messenger of Allah when he is in Ihram." Ahmad bin Nasr (one of the narrators) said in his narration: "The glistening of the perfume of musk in the parting (of the hair) of the Messenger of Allah"

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ حَدَّثَنِي الأَسْوَدُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ لَقَدْ كَانَ يُرَى وَبِيصُ الطِّيبِ فِي مَفَارِقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated that 'Aishah said:

"The glistening of the perfume could be seen in the parting (of the hair) of the Messenger of Allah while he was in Ihram.''
