‏ أَحِّدْ أَحِّدْ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:

A man used to supplicate with two fingers and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Make it one, make it one."

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، كَانَ يَدْعُو بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏

‏ أَحِّدْ أَحِّدْ ‏

‏ ‏.‏ وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ ‏.‏

English translation

It was narrated from Sa`d who said:

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by me when I was supplicating with my fingers and he said: 'Make it one, make it one' and pointed with his forefinger."
