10.0What to say when entering the masjid
2باب مَا يَقُولُ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ
11.0It is recommended to greet the masjid by praying two rak`ah, and it is disliked to sit before praying these two rak`ah, and this is prescribed at all times
3باب اسْتِحْبَابِ تَحِيَّةِ الْمَسْجِدِ بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ وَكَرَاهَةِ الْجُلُوسِ قَبْلَ صَلاَتِهِمَا وَأَنَّهَا مَشْرُوعَةٌ فِي جَمِيعِ الأَوْقَاتِ
12.0It is recommended to pray two rak`ah in the masjid for one who has come from a journey, when he first arrives
3باب اسْتِحْبَابِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لِمَنْ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ أَوَّلَ قُدُومِهِ
13.0It is recommended to pray Duha, the least of which is two rak`ah, the best of which is eight, and the average of which is four or six, and encouragement to do so regularly
16باب اسْتِحْبَابِ صَلاَةِ الضُّحَى وَأَنَّ أَقَلَّهَا رَكْعَتَانِ وَأَكْمَلَهَا ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَوْسَطَهَا أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ أَوْ سِتٌّ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَى الْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَيْهَا
14.0It is recommended to pray two rak`ah for the sunnah of Fajr. And encouragement to pray them regularly, and to make them brief, and to persist in offering them, and clarifying what is recommended to recite therein
18باب اسْتِحْبَابِ رَكْعَتَيْ سُنَّةِ الْفَجْرِ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَيْهِمَا وَتَخْفِيفِهِمَا وَالْمُحَافَظَةِ عَلَيْهِمَا وَبَيَانِ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ أَنْ يُقْرَأَ فِيهِمَا
15.0The virtue of the regular sunnah prayers before and after the obligatory prayers, and their numbers
5باب فَضْلِ السُّنَنِ الرَّاتِبَةِ قَبْلَ الْفَرَائِضِ وَبَعْدَهُنَّ وَبَيَانِ عَدَدِهِنَّ
16.0It is permissible to offer voluntary prayers standing or sitting, and to stand and sit in the same rak`ah
18باب جَوَازِ النَّافِلَةِ قَائِمًا وَقَاعِدًا وَفِعْلِ بَعْضِ الرَّكْعَةِ قَائِمًا وَبَعْضِهَا قَاعِدًا
17.0Night prayers and the number of rak`ah offered by the Prophet (ﷺ) at night, and that Witr is one rak`ah, and a one-rak`ah prayer is correct
21باب صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَعَدَدِ رَكَعَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَّ الْوِتْرَ رَكْعَةٌ وَأَنَّ الرَّكْعَةَ صَلاَةٌ صَحِيحَةٌ
18.0Night prayer, and the one who sleeps and misses it or is sick
7باب جَامِعِ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ وَمَنْ نَامَ عَنْهُ أَوْ مَرِضَ
19.0Salat al-Awwabin (the prayer of the penitent) is when the young camels feel the heat of the hot sand
2باب صَلاَةُ الأَوَّابِينَ حِينَ تَرْمَضُ الْفِصَالُ
20.0The night prayers are two by two, and Witr is one rakah at the end of the night
18باب صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى وَالْوِتْرُ رَكْعَةٌ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ
21.0One who fears that he will not get up at the end of the night, then he should pray Witr at the beginning of the night
2باب مَنْ خَافَ أَنْ لاَ يَقُومَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيُوتِرْ أَوَّلَهُ
22.0The best prayer is that in which one stands for a long time (tuwlul-qunut)
2باب أَفْضَلُ الصَّلاَةِ طُولُ الْقُنُوتِ
23.0In the night there is an hour when supplications are answered
2باب فِي اللَّيْلِ سَاعَةٌ مُسْتَجَابٌ فِيهَا الدُّعَاءُ
24.0Encouragement to supplicate and recite statements of remembrance at the end of the night, and the response to that
6باب التَّرْغِيبِ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَالذِّكْرِ فِي آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ وَالإِجَابَةِ فِيهِ

30.0The virtue of a deed that is done persistently, whether it be Qiyam al-Lail or anything else. The command to be moderate in worship, which means adopting what one can persist in. The command to the one who gets tired or weary when praying to stop until that feeling passes
4باب فَضِيلَةِ الْعَمَلِ الدَّائِمِ مِنْ قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ وَغَيْرِهِ
31.0The command to one who becomes sleepy while praying, or who starts to falter in his recitation of the Qur’an or statements of remembrance, to lie down or sit down until that goes away
6باب أَمْرِ مَنْ نَعَسَ فِي صَلاَتِهِ أَوِ اسْتَعْجَمَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ أَوِ الذِّكْرُ بِأَنْ يَرْقُدَ أَوْ يَقْعُدَ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ عَنْهُ ذَلِكَ

0باب فَضَائِلِ الْقُرْآنِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهِ
33.0The command to keep refreshing one’s knowledge of the Qur’an and that it is disliked to say I have forgotten such-and-such a verse, but it is permissible to say I have been caused to forget
8باب الأَمْرِ بِتَعَهُّدِ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَرَاهَةِ قَوْلِ نَسِيتُ آيَةَ كَذَا. وَجَوَازِ قَوْلِ أُنْسِيتُهَا
34.0It is recommended to make one’s voice beautiful when reciting Qur’an

2باب فَضْلِ الْمَاهِرِ بِالْقُرْآنِ وَالَّذِي يَتَتَعْتَعُ فِيهِ
39.0It is recommended to recite the Qur’an to people of virtue who are skilled in its recitation, even if the reciter is better than the one to whom it is recited
3باب اسْتِحْبَابِ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْفَضْلِ وَالْحُذَّاقِ فِيهِ وَإِنْ كَانَ الْقَارِئُ أَفْضَلَ مِنَ الْمَقْرُوءِ عَلَيْهِ
40.0The virtue of listening to the Qur’an, asking one who has memorized it to recite so that one may listen, weeping when reciting, and pondering the meanings
5باب فَضْلِ اسْتِمَاعِ الْقُرْآنِ وَطَلَبِ الْقِرَاءَةِ مِنْ حَافِظِهِ لِلاِسْتِمَاعِ وَالْبُكَاءِ عِنْدَ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَالتَّدَبُّرِ
41.0The virtue of reciting the Qur’an in prayer and learning it

5باب فَضْلِ مَنْ يَقُومُ بِالْقُرْآنِ وَيُعَلِّمُهُ وَفَضْلِ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ حِكْمَةً مِنْ فِقْهٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ فَعَمِلَ بِهَا وَعَلَّمَهَا
48.0The clarification that the Qur’an was revealed in seven ahruf (modes of recitation), and clarifying its meaning
9باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ وَبَيَانِ مَعْنَاهُ
49.0Slow, measured pace of recitation (tartil), and to not rush when reciting, and the permissibility of reciting two or more surahs in one rak`ah
6باب تَرْتِيلِ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَاجْتِنَابِ الْهَذِّ وَهُوَ الإِفْرَاطُ فِي السُّرْعَةِ وَإِبَاحَةِ سُورَتَيْنِ فَأَكْثَرَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ
