‏ تَسَحَّرُوا فَإِنَّ فِي السَّحُورِ بَرَكَةً ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Eat Suhur, for in Suhur there is a blessing.”

‏ اسْتَعِينُوا بِطَعَامِ السَّحَرِ عَلَى صِيَامِ النَّهَارِ وَبِالْقَيْلُولَةِ عَلَى قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Seek help by eating Suhur for fasting that day, and by taking a brief rest (at midday) for praying at night.”
