‏ لاَ يُقْتَلُ بِالْوَلَدِ الْوَالِدُ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“A father should not be killed for his son.”

‏ لاَ يُقْتَلُ الْوَالِدُ بِالْوَلَدِ ‏

English translation

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that 'Umar bin Khattab said:

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'A father should not be killed for his son.'”
