‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَسُبُّ بَنُو آدَمَ الدَّهْرَ، وَأَنَا الدَّهْرُ، بِيَدِي اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ ‏

‏‏.‏

English translation

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah said, "The offspring of Adam abuse the Dahr (Time), and I am the Dahr; in My Hands are the night and the day." !

‏ لاَ تُسَمُّوا الْعِنَبَ الْكَرْمَ، وَلاَ تَقُولُوا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ‏.‏ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الدَّهْرُ ‏

English translation

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't call the grapes Al-Karm, and don't say 'Khaibat-ad-Dahri, for Allah is the Dahr. (See Hadith No. 202.)
