‏ إِذَا خَرَجَ ثَلاَثَةٌ فِي سَفَرٍ فَلْيُؤَمِّرُوا أَحَدَهُمْ ‏

English translation

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When three are on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their commander.

‏ إِذَا كَانَ ثَلاَثَةٌ فِي سَفَرٍ فَلْيُؤَمِّرُوا أَحَدَهُمْ ‏

‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ نَافِعٌ فَقُلْنَا لأَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَأَنْتَ أَمِيرُنَا ‏.‏

English translation

Narrated AbuHurayrah:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When three are on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their commander. Nafi' said: We said to AbuSalamah: You are our commander.
