المحرز بن حارِثة (٠٠٠ - ٣٦ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٥٦ م) المحرز بن حارثة ربيعة بن عبد العزى العبشمي: وال، من النبلاء مكة، ثم عزله، وعاش إلى أن كانت وقعة " الجمل " فقتل فيها. وكانت في الكوفة محلة تسمي " سكة بني محرز " نسبت إلى أبنائه وقد نزلوا بها (٢) .
