عبد الرحمن بن غَنْم (٠٠٠ - ٧٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٩٧ م) عبد الرحمن بن غنم بن كريز الأشعري: شيخ أهل فلسطين، وفقيه الشام، في عصره. ولد في حياة النبي ﷺ وبعثه عمر بن الخطاب إلى الشام ليفقه أهلها. وكان كبير القدر، قال أبو مسهر الغساني: هو رأس التابعين. وقيل: هو الّذي تفقه عليه التابعون بالشام (١) .
