داوُد حُسْني (١٢٨٧ - ١٣٥٦ هـ = ١٨٧٠ - ١٩٣٧ م) داود حسني: موسيقار مصري. أول من لحن (الأوبرا) الكاملة في الشرق العربيّ. وضع أكثر من ٥٠٠ أغنية تناقلها المنشدون والموسيقيون بمصر وغيرها. وأضاف إلى الموسيقى المصرية الواناً تركيةوفارسية (١) .
