قَضِيب البان (٤٧١ - ٥٧٣ هـ = ١٠٧٩ - ١١٧٧ م) الحسين بن عيسى بن يحيى الحسني، أبو عبد الله المعروف بقضيب البان: متصوف من أهل الموصل. تفقه حنبليا وصحب عبد القادر الكيلاني وغيره. له أخبار في الزهد كثيرة. وفي جامعة بغداد (الرقم ٥٤١) مخطوط باسم (جوهرة البيان في نسب السيد قضيب البان) ل أبي ربيعة عيسى الحسني الموصلي (؟) (٤) .
