٦١٦- عمرو بن مروان بن الحكم، أبو حفص: لم يكن في بني أمية بمصر في أيامه أفضل منه. كان خلفاء بني أمية يكتبون إلى أمراء مصر لا تعصوا له أمرا. وكان يأتي عجائز كنّ في خراب المعافر، فيدفع إليهن ما يكفيهن طوال السنة. روى عنه: يزيد بن أبي حبيب وغيره.
