Abu Sa’īd reported: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge from the jinn as well as from the evil eye until al-mu’awwidhataan (Sūrah al Falaq and Al-Nās) were revealed. When they were sent down, he utilized them and left other things.” Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2058 .
