Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Out of all garments, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked the Qamees the best. [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi ] . Editor's note: The Qamees is a modest, traditional outfit thought to resemble what is now referred to as a thawb.
