الحسن بن يزيد الأصم روى عن السدي روى عنه محمد بن بكار وزكريا بن يحيى سمعت أبي يقول ذلك. حدثنا عبد الرحمن انا عبد الله ابن أحمد بن حنبل فيما كتب إلى قال سألت أبي عن الحسن بن يزيد الأصم الذي يحدث عن السدي فقال: ثقة ليس به بأس إلا إنه حدث عن السدي عن أوس بن ضمعج. حدثنا عبد الرحمن قال سمعت أبا زرعة يقول سألت يحيى بن معين عن الحسن بن يزيد الأصم فقال: لا بأس به كان ينزل الرصافة سمعت أبي يقول سئل يحيى بن معين عن الحسن بن يزيد الأصم فأثنى عليه خيرا وقال: لا بأس به. حدثنا عبد الرحمن قال سمعت ابى ( م ) يقول: الحسن بن يزيد الأصم لا بأس به.
