إسحاق (*) بن أحمد الخزاعي هو أبو محمد إسحاق بن أحمد بن إسحاق بن نافع الخُزاعي المكي، شيخ الحرم، جوَّد القرآن على البَزِّي، وعبد الوهاب بن فُليح. وحدَّث عن: ابن أبي عمر العَدَني بمسنده، وعن محمد بن زُنْبور، وأبي الوليد الأزرقي. وكان متقنًا، ثقة، ذكر أنه تلا على ابن فليح مئة وعشرين ختمة، وله مصنفات في القراءات. قرأ عليه ابن شَنَبُوذ، والمطَّوِّعي، ومحمد بن موسى الزَّينبي وعدّة، وحدَّث عنه ابن المقرئ، وإبراهيم بن عبد الرَّزاق الأنطاكي وآخرون. مات بمكة في ثامن رمضان سنة ثمان وثلاثمائة (¬٣).
