  • ٤١٩ - عُبيد اللَّهِ بنُ عمر بن مَيسَرة * (خ، م، د، س) الحافظُ الكبير، أبو سعيد البصري القَواريري، مولى بني جُشَم. سمع: حمّاد بنَ زيد، وعبدَ الوارث، ومسلمًا الزَّنجي، والدَّراوردي، وطبقتهم. وعنه: البخاري، ومسلم، وأبو داود، وأبو زُرْعة، وأبو يَعْلى، والبَغَوي، وخلق. قال ابن مَعين والنَّسائي: ثقة (٢).وقال أحمد بنُ سيّار: لم أرَ مثلَ مسدِّدٍ بالبصرة، والقَواريري ببغداد، وذكر آخر (١). وقال صالح جَزَرَة: ما رأيتُ أحدًا أعلمَ بحديث البصرة من القَواريري، وابن المديني، وابن عَرْعَرة (٢). وقال ثعلب: سمعتُ من القَواريري مئةَ ألف حديث (٣). مات سنةَ خمسٍ وثلاثين ومئتين.
