مَا خُيِّرَ عَمَّارٌ بَيْنَ أَمْرَيْنِ إِلاَّ اخْتَارَ أَرْشَدَهُمَا
. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ سِيَاهٍ . وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كُوفِيٌّ وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ النَّاسُ وَ لَهُ ابْنٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثقة رَوَى عَنْهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ .
English translation
Narrated 'Aishah:
that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Ammar is not given a choice between two matters, except that he chooses the one with more guidance in it."
