  • [٦٣٦٧] (م (¬٦) ت س) محمد بن عبد الله بن (بزيع) (¬٧)، أبو عبد الله البَصريّ. روى عن عبد الوارث بن سعيد، وفُضَيل بن سليمان، وعبد الوهاب الثَّقَفيّ، وعبد الأعلى بن عبد الأعلى، ومُعتَمر بن سليمان، وابن أبي عَديّ، ويزيد بن زُرَيع، وعبد الحكيم بن منصور، وبِشْر بن المُفَضَّل، وزياد بن الرَّبيع، وغيرهم. روى عنه مسلم والتِّرمذيّ والنَّسائيّ وأبو بكر بن أبي عاصم، وأبو بكر البَزَّار، وموسى بن هارون، وزكرياء بن يحيى السَّاجي، وابن خُزَيمة، ومحمد بن علي الحَكِيم، والقاسم بن زكرياء المُطَرِّز، وعمر بن محمد بن بُجَير، وابن أبي الدُّنيا، وعَبْدَان الأَهوَازِيّ، وسهل بن موسىشيران، وأبو جعفر محمد بن جَرير الطَّبري، ومحمد بن عَبْدة بن حَرْب القَاضي، وآخرون. قال أبو حاتم: ثقةٌ (¬١) وقال النَّسَائي: صالحٌ (¬٢). وقال مرَّةً: لا بأسَ به (¬٣). وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" (¬٤). قال ابن أبي عاصم: مات سنة سبعٍ وأربعين ومائتين (¬٥). قلتُ: وَوَثَقَهُ مَسلمة بن قاسم. وقال صاحب الزَّهرَة": روى عنه مسلمٌ تسعة أحاديث (¬٦).
