عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَصَبَ الْمَنْجَنِيقَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الطائفِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ مُرْسلا
English translation
Thauban b. Yazid told that the Prophet (ﷺ) set up the ballista when attacking the people of at-Ta’if. Tirmidhi transmitted it in <i>mursal</i> form.
