'Abdallah b. ‘Amr told that God’s Messenger cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes bribes. Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Tirmidhi transmitted it on ‘Abdallah’s authority and on that of Abu Huraira. Ahmad and Baihaqi, in <i>Shu'ab al-iman</i>, transmitted it on the authority of Thauban, who added that the <i>raish</i> is the go-between regarding a bribe.

وَعَن عبد الله بن عَمْرو قَالَ: لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسلم الرَّاشِيَ وَالْمُرْتَشِيَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَرَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ عَنهُ وَعَن أبي هُرَيْرَة وَرَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي «شُعَبِ الْإِيمَانِ» عَنِ ثَوْبَانَ وَزَادَ: «وَالرَّائِشَ» يَعْنِي الَّذِي يَمْشِي بَيْنَهُمَا
