Al-Hakam b. ‘Amr said that God’s messenger forbade that a man should perform ablution with the water left over by his wife after purifying herself. Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi transmitted it. Tirmidhi adding “Or he said, “With her leavings’.” He said that this is a <i>hasan sahih</i> tradition.

وَعَن الحكم بن عَمْرو قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ الرَّجُلُ بِفَضْلِ طَهُورِ الْمَرْأَةِ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ: وَزَادَ: أَوْ قَالَ: بِسُؤْرِهَا. وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيح
