وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الأَشْهَلِيِّ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ إِحْدَاكُنَّ أَنْ تُهْدِيَ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ كُرَاعَ شَاةٍ مُحْرَقًا
.
English translation
Malik related to me from Zayd ibn Aslam from Amr ibn Muadh al- Ashali al-Ansari that his grandmother said, "The Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, 'O trusting women! Let none of you despise giving to her neighbour even if it is only a roasted sheep's trotter.'
