It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin Mas'ood that

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The first one to establish the custom of as-sa’ibah and the worship of idols was Abu Khuza'ah 'Amr bin 'Amir, and verily I have seen him dragging his intestines in Hell.
