It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) set out in Ramadan to conquer Makkah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) fasted until he reached Qudaid, then he called for a vessel of milk and drank it. Then his companions broke the fast until they reached Makkah.
