Ata' bin Abi Rabah said that he heard Ibn ‘Abbas (رضي الله عنه) narrate that

A man was wounded at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He had a wet dream and was told to do ghusl, and he died. News of that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: "They have killed him, may Allah kill them. The remedy for the one who does not know is asking."
