English translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه):

The name of Juwairiyah bint al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), was Barrah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) changed her name and called her Juwairiyah.
