It was narrated that `Ata' bin Abi Rabah said: I heard Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) say:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died when I had just been circumcised.[1] [1]At that time, boys would be circumcised when they reached puberty.
