This hadith has been reported on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmit ters.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ ‏.‏
