اسْتَكْثِرُوا مِنَ النِّعَالِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لاَ يَزَالُ رَاكِبًا مَا انْتَعَلَ
.
English translation
Jabir reported:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying during an expedition in which we also participated: Make a general practice of wearing sandals, for a man is riding as it were when he wears sandals.
