Jabir said, "The Prophet, (ﷺ), passed by an animal which had been branded and its nostrils were smoking. The Prophet, (ﷺ), said, 'Allah curses any person who does this. No one should mark the face nor strike it.'"

حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ‏:‏ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِدَابَّةٍ قَدْ وُسِمَ يُدَخِّنُ مَنْخِرَاهُ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا، لاَ يَسِمَنَّ أَحَدٌ الْوَجْهَ وَلاَ يَضْرِبَنَّهُ‏.‏
