Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA):

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "If anyone who intends to have intercourse with his wife says, 'In the Name of Allah. O Allah, keep us away from the devil and keep the devil away from what You have provided us (of children)', should it be ordained that a child be born to them thereby, Satan will never harm it." [Agreed upon].

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏- رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا‏- قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ [1]‏ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَهْلَهُ قَالَ : بِسْمِ اَللَّهِ .‏ اَللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا اَلشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا ; فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يُقَدَّرْ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ فِي ذَلِكَ , لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ اَلشَّيْطَانُ أَبَدًا".‏ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ [2]‏ .‏
