Ibn ’Abbas (RAA) narrated, ‘l never saw the Prophet (ﷺ) touch (place his hands on) any other part of the Ka'bah except the two corners:

وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { لَمْ أَرَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-يَسْتَلِمُ مِنْ اَلْبَيْتِ غَيْرَ اَلرُّكْنَيْنِ اَلْيَمَانِيَيْنِ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ [1]‏ .‏
