’Ali bin Abi Talib (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Madinah is a Haram (Sanctuary) and its Sacred Precincts extend from ’Air to Thawr (the names of two mountains).” Related by Muslim.

وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ ‏- صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏-{ اَلْمَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ مَا بَيْنَ عَيْرٍ إِلَى ثَوْرٍ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ [1]‏ .‏
