A’ishah (RAA) narrated, ‘I once asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ‘O Messenger of Allah! Is Jihad incumbent upon women? He replied, “Yes. They have to take part in Jihad in which no fighting takes place, which is:

Hajj and 'Umrah." Related by Ahmad and Ibn Majah and the wording is his. It is reported with a sound chain of narrators.

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ! عَلَى اَلنِّسَاءِ جِهَادٌ ? قَالَ:

نَعَمْ, عَلَيْهِنَّ جِهَادٌ لَا قِتَالَ فِيهِ: اَلْحَجُّ, وَالْعُمْرَةُ

} رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ, وَإِسْنَادُهُ صَحِيحٌ [1]‏ وَأَصْلُهُ فِي اَلصَّحِيحِ [2]‏ .‏
