Umm Salamah (RAA) narrated that she was wearing golden ornaments and asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), ‘Is it considered as a treasure?’ He said, “If you pay the due Zakah, then it is not considered as a treasure.” Related by Abu Dawud and Ad-Daraqutni.

وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; { أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَلْبَسُ أَوْضَاحً ا [1]‏ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ! أَكَنْزٌ هُوَ? ] فَـ [ قَالَ:

إِذَا أَدَّيْتِ زَكَاتَهُ, فَلَيْسَ بِكَنْزٍ

.‏ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ .‏ [2]‏ .‏
