Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade urinating into stagnant water. <b>[Muslim]</b>.

عن جابر رضي الله عنه ‏:‏ أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى أن يبال في الماء الراكد‏.‏‏ رواه مسلم‏

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br> 1) It is prohibited to hurt Muslims by words, like cursing and reviling, or by actions, like urinating in the sources of water.<br> 2) One of the great aspects of the Islamic Shariah is that it urges people to do what maintains their health and that of the whole society. That is why it forbids urinating in still water.<br> <br> <br> <br> <b>Words in the Hadith:</b><br> Stagnant water is the water that does not flow, like that of a small pond.
