Riyad as-Salihin, 1738
Jabir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The dearest and the closest of you to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who are the best in behaviour; and the most hateful and the farthest from me on the Day of Resurrection will be the talkative and the most pretentious and the most rhetorical." <b>[At-Tirmidhi]</b>.
وعن جابر بن عبد الله رضي الله عنهما أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
إن من أحبكم إلي، وأقربكم مني مجلسًا يوم القيامة، أحاسنكم أخلاقًا، وإن أبغضكم إلي وأبعدكم مني يوم القيامة، والثرثارون، والمتشدقون، والمتفيهقون
.((رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن)). وقد سبق شرحه في باب حسن الخلق.

<b>Guidance from the Hadiths:</b><br>
1) A Muslim should speak naturally without affectation.<br>
2) Good morals are among the reasons for winning the Prophet’s love and being close to him on the Day of Judgment.<br>

Mutafayhiqūn: those who fill their mouth with the speech and stretch it, due to their arrogance. The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) explained it saying: “The arrogant”.
