Riyad as-Salihin, 1394
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Any matter of importance which is not begun with Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) remains defective." <b>[Abu Dawud]</b>.
وعنه عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
كل أمر ذي بال لا يبدأ فيه: بالحمد لله فهو أقطع
حديث حسن، ((رواه أبو داود وغيره)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) It is recommended to start all matters by praising Allah Almighty, especially what is significant thereof.<br>
2) Blessings are sent down by remembering Allah’s name and praising Him. This is one of the fruits of praising Allah Almighty, and from this one knows that whatever is attributed to Allah Almighty is blessed, and that whatever is disconnected from Him is devoid of blessing.
