Riyad as-Salihin, 1233
Sahl bin Sa'd (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "People will continue to adhere to good as long as they hasten to break the Saum (fasting)." <b>[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
عن سهل بن سعد رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
لا يزال الناس بخير ما عجلوا الفطر

1) Hastening to break the fast is a sign of goodness in this Ummah and a trait that Allah loves and is pleased with.<br>
2) The Prophet’s statements and actions urge us to hasten to break the fast. The fortunate amongst us are those who adhere to the Prophet’s Sunnah.
