Riyad as-Salihin, 1187
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who observes optional prayer (Tarawih prayers) throughout Ramadan, out of sincerity of Faith and in the hope of earning reward will have his past sins pardoned." <b>[Al- Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:
من قام رمضان إيمانًا واحتسابًا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه
. ((متفق عليه)) .

<b>Guidance from the Hadiths:</b><br>
1) There is a great reward for those who perform Qiyām in Ramadan out of faith in Allah and in pursuit of reward from Him.<br>
2) Qiyām in Ramadan is a confirmed Sunnah, which was done by the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and the Companions after him. Blissful are those whom Allah guides to seizing the blessed opportunities during the nights of Ramadan.<br>
