Riyad as-Salihin, 1179
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When one of you gets up at night to perform (Tahajjud) prayer, let him start Salat with two short Rak'ah." <b>[Muslim]</b>.
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:
إذا قام أحدكم من الليل فليفتتح الصلاة بركعتين خفيفتين
((رواه مسلم)).
