Riyad as-Salihin, 864
Umm Hani (May Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of Abu Talib reported:
I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the day of the conquest of Makkah. He was taking a bath and Fatimah was screening him with a cloth. I greeted him. And she mentioned the rest of the Hadith. <b>[Muslim]</b>.
وعن أم هانئ فاختة بنت أبي طالب رضي الله عنه قالت: أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الفتح وهو يغتسل، وفاطمة تستره بثوب، فسلمت، وذكرت الحديث” ((رواه مسلم)).

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) It is permissible for a woman to greet a man when no temptation or seclusion is involved.<br>
2) It is permissible for someone to greet another while the latter is taking a bath, and it is permissible for a naked person to return the greeting.<br>
3) It is permissible for a man to be helped in taking a bath by a member of his family.<br>
4) Concealing oneself from people’s sight while taking a bath is one of the Prophet’s manners.
