Umm Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Out of all garments, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked the Qamees the best. <b>[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi ]</b>. Editor's note: The Qamees is a modest, traditional outfit thought to resemble what is now referred to as a thawb.
عن أم سلمة رضى الله عنها قالت: كان أحب الثياب إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم القميص.((رواه أبو داود والترمذي))

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) It is recommended to wear a Qamis, for the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear it, and this was the most favorite clothing to him.<br>
2) It is the Prophet’s guidance to wear what is more concealing of the ‘Awrah.
