Riyad as-Salihin, 683
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was even shier than a virgin behind her veil. When he saw something which he disliked, we could perceive it on his face. <b>[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]</b>.
وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أشد حياء من العذراء في خدرها، فإذا رأى شيئياً يكرهه عرفناه في وجهه. ((متفق عليه)) .

<b>Guidance from the Hadith:</b><br>
1) Every Muslim should follow the Prophet’s example in modesty, for it is a noble manner.<br>
2) Modesty that prevents a person from asking questions he needs to ask is dispraised modesty, and we should not call it modesty; rather, it is cowardice, weakness, and demoralization by Satan.
